does anyone have any simple straight answer as to how to use the A22 toll and how much it would cost from Faro to Carvoeiro? or a day /week/month rate? and how you pay when using a hire car?

We've hired the car to collect at the airport, same company we used in Sept as they were pretty good, I'm just a bit concerned as we have no idea how the toll works or how much it costs or how to pay etc... we didn't even know that you needed to pay at the post of...

Can anyone advise what the situation is with the toll road?

We'll be arriving in Faro in a couple of weeks and have hired a car , just a little concerned now as to how the toll roads work?

we have a first time 'winter' visit to Carvoeiro planned for January (been in the summer / autumn before). Are the Carvoeiro restaurants and bars open in January? what are the best places to visit? best places to eat? Any advise greatly appreciated
