Gas boiler
We are just going through the process of gas boiler replacement. Auto heat have quoted us 3200 plus iva to suit a 4 bed villa. Richard is very informative and helpful.
We havent had it put in yet so cant tell you if it is ok!

Many thanks for the replies -we had always assumed that the installation of solar was expensive -so had put that aside as an option. Any suggestions/recommendations for local Companies?

Hot water
We use Alagoagas in Lagoa 58 euro for a big bottle. We run our hot water and gas hob but the gas runs out very quickly and the hot water takes ages to get through. Thought about changing to an electric system -anybody have any experience of systems that work nearly as effectively as the UK?

villa rental
We have a four bed villa that our American friends have stayed in and they love the large rooms and feeling of 'home from home'. Depending on dates it may suit. Happy to provide more details if required.
